YES LEADers at Chenango Valley High School learned about the importance of being a positive role model as they took part in a YES LAUNCH training on December 5.
Led by representatives from
YES Safe Choices, the training started with hands-on activities that encouraged teamwork and communication. Students then listened to an informative presentation and discussed ways to make a positive impact.
YES LEADers also prepared for future presentations for their younger peers at Chenango Valley -- with topics such as vaping/juuling to help inform students about potential health risks and ways to say no. These presentations will take place in the spring.
