Note from Principal Ostrander regarding Freshman Orientation:
Dear incoming ninth grade parents/guardians,
I am excited to be working with you and your child this school year! High school is a very important time in your child’s education - it is the culmination of all of their hard work!
I would like to invite you to our Ninth Grade Orientation Night. This will be on Wednesday, August 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chenango Valley Middle School/High School auditorium. I know summer is a busy time, but I hope you can make this very important event.
I will be sharing helpful tips for students and parents, students will be able to ‘walk’ their schedule with high school students as helpers, our CV Guidance Department will be on hand to answer questions about scheduling and credits, and I will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Note from Principal Ostrander regarding school supplies:
Good afternoon,
I had a number of parents asking if there was a supply list for the high school. We don't have supply lists for high school, but students generally just need a couple of binders, plus a notebook/pocket folder for each subject and writing supplies. Since each student is assigned a Chromebook and many of their assignments are online, supplies should last! I hope this helps in your school shopping! Please feel free to reach out with any other questions or concerns.
