In its inaugural year, the Chenango Valley Summer Community Band provided a wonderful social and musical opportunity in the Chenango Valley Central School District.
After six weeks of Tuesday evening practices, the band put on an outstanding concert performance for community members in the Chenango Valley Middle School/High School auditorium on August 20!
The 30-member band that performed at the concert was comprised of a variety of musicians including 22 Chenango Valley students, three Chenango Valley alumni, one Chenango Valley parent, one band student from Chenango Forks, Chenango Valley Middle School Principal Mr. Eric Attleson, Chenango Forks Band Director Mr. Ken Starr, and Mr. Hammill’s father Mike Hammill (who drove up from Florida just to play)!
