Awesome job to the Chenango Valley High School STEAM Club members who participated in the Vex Competition in Elmira!

They competed in eight matches throughout the day and had a record of 6-2. This put them in 11th place out of 38 teams and put them in the finals. The finals use a 16-seed bracket and once your team loses, you are done. They won the first match which moved them into the Elite 8. They didn't make it past their second match, but the team did very well for its second year competing in this tournament. Many teams have been competing for five years or more, so the team felt great at the end of the day!
