During a Warrior STRONG meeting on October 12, CV Middle School students worked in small groups to take toothpaste out of its tube and then try to put it back in. The purpose of this activity was to help teach an important lesson:
- Words are like the toothpaste – once they are out, we can’t put them back. Therefore, we need to be aware of the impact of what we say.
- Toothpaste helps to keep our mouth healthy! Words are the same way. If we use our words to say nice things, they can bring joy/health to others.
- If you squeeze a tube of toothpaste, all the toothpaste comes squirting out. What a mess! Our words are the same way. When we speak hurtful things, we can make a huge mess!
