Mr. Lewis’s Earth & Space class had fun designing their own model rockets during their Unit on Rocketry. Students were excited to launch the rockets off on May 8.
Leading up to their rocket launch, students learned about topics including forces behind rockets and rocket aerodynamics. They also put their rockets on display for teachers and students to view, and had a contest for the most unique/best looking rocket designs.
