Members of the Chenango Valley High School Interact Club lent a helping hand to local organizations during the group’s annual “Day of Caring” community service event on April 26.

As part of this event, a group of the club's members helped to tidy up the Discovery Center’s Story Garden, including assistance with cleaning exhibits and putting down mulch. Another group of Interact Club students volunteered at the nonprofit Mom’s House in Johnson City.

The Interact Club, a student service club in collaboration with the Hillcrest Rotary, is Chenango Valley High School’s largest student organization with more than 100 members. The group continuously provides volunteer services to its local community.
