Ten Chenango Valley High School students showcased 12 pieces in the “Broome County High Schools' 2019 Emerging Artists Competition and Exhibition” presented by the Broome County Arts Council. The exhibit is located at the Artisan Gallery on Court Street in Binghamton.

An April 5 event at the exhibit included an awards ceremony and opening reception. Chenango Valley High School senior Kayla Ferris received the "Best-in-Show" award (the award for the piece judged with the highest score) for her drawing "Ambition" seen below! With event sponsorship from FASST (the Fine Arts Society of the Southern Tier), Kayla also received a $100 gift certificate for her achievement.
