Chenango Bridge Elementary held its annual “Spring into Poetry” recitation on March 21 (which also happened to be World Poetry Day). Each teacher selected two students from their classroom to recite a poem. Participants did a fantastic job sharing their memorized pieces in front of the school!
Judges at the recitation were School Resource Officer Scott Alston, Chenango Valley Superintendent Dr. David Gill, and retired Chenango Bridge Elementary teachers Mrs. Mary Lou Zanot and Mrs. Cheryl Ryder.
Two students, Arin Miller and Lauren Vesci, were selected to represent Chenango Bridge Elementary at the county recitation on April 27.
