On June 5, Mr. Jones’s Enriched 10 students visited Port Dickinson Elementary to share non-fiction history books with kindergarten students.

Prior to their visit, the high school students researched a variety of topics, including historical figures and events. The students then took their in-depth research and broke the topics down into books that could be easily understood by children of all ages. They also illustrated the books.

Students in Mrs. DeVincentiis and Mr. Walter’s kindergarten classes enjoyed the visit and learning about history from their older peers!

On June 7, the Enriched 10 students also shared some of their books with students in Mr. Clark's sixth grade social studies class!
