Students in Mrs. Chavez's high school Child Psychology class and Mrs. Shadduck's eighth grade FACS (Family and Consumer Science) class visited Mrs. DeVincentiis's kindergarten class with a special presentation on May 29.

Earlier in the school year, the kindergarten students drew monsters with names and descriptions of their personalities. Child Psychology students made these monsters "come to life" on the pages of children's books. The FACS students sewed the monsters into "real-life" plush creations.

The kindergarten students loved receiving the sewn monsters and having the stories read to them by their older peers.
