Three Chenango Valley schools received donations thanks to a Weis Markets program to benefit local education.

Port Dickinson Elementary, Chenango Bridge Elementary, and Chenango Valley Middle School each received a $400 donation on October 4. The money was raised as part of the 2020-2021 Weis4School program. Customers can sign up through their Shopper's Club Card and earn points through their purchases that later become part of a monetary donation for participating schools.

Port Dickinson Elementary and Chenango Valley Middle School received their donations on behalf of Weis Markets on Upper Front Street. Chenango Bridge Elementary received its donation on behalf of Weis Markets on Rano Blvd. in Vestal.

"Weis is part of the community and our associates are part of the community as well. So, it means a lot to help our community," said Rich Reese, Weis on Rano Blvd. Store Manager.
