2021 Scholastic Art Awards
The amazing artwork of eight Chenango Valley High School students received more than a dozen recognitions through the 2021 Scholastic Art Awards.

The Scholastic Art Awards is unable to host an in-person recognition ceremony this year. However, the 78th Scholastic Honors exhibition will be on display in the Arnot Art Museum’s East Gallery from February 2 through March 6.

A special congratulations to our Chenango Valley student artists on these updates:
  • Miranda Rogers was nominated for national judication as a Gold Key, American Visions Award! This was for her Scholastic Arts & Writing Gold Key Entry in Ceramics, "Mugs of Steam," seen below!
  • Lucas Hoyt was selected as one of the recipients of the Elmira Regional Art Society Creativity Awards. These awards are a recognition of artistic excellence within the Arnot Art Museum's annual Scholastic Art Awards exhibition.
  • Jessica Matson was selected as recipient of the Matthias H. Arnot Society Awards. Named after the museum's founder, these awards are a recognition of artistic achievement within the annual Scholastic Art Awards exhibition at the Arnot Art Museum.
