The Chenango Valley Middle School STEAM Club was excited to take part in a fun "Engineering Day" challenge through Broome-Tioga BOCES. For the challenge, students designed Rube Goldberg machines and presented them to judges via Zoom on March 30.
On March 22, students learned about the rules and how judging would work. To add to the excitement, students were presented six miscellaneous items and were asked to use their creativity to include these items as part of their Rube Goldberg machines.
Along with the Chenango Valley Middle School STEAM Club, students from other districts in the region participated in this exciting challenge.
Below is a video with some highlights of Chenango Valley Middle School students presenting their projects on March 30. The participants learned that dominoes can be quite fickle and also had a whole lot of fun throughout the process!
