French 8 Classes Design La Toussaint Display
On November 1, the French celebrate La Toussaint, a national public holiday in France, where people take time to honor the dead. They often do this by visiting the cemetery and placing flowers on their graves. Madame Henyan’s French 8 classes learned about the famous Cimetière du Père-Lachaise in Paris, France where many famous people are buried. They worked hard to create a display with some of the individuals buried there.
