Chenango Bridge Elementary Works to ‘Stomp Out Bullying’ on National Stop Bullying Day
On National Stop Bullying Day (October 12, 2022) , Chenango Bridge Elementary held a special Olweus assembly to “Stomp Out Bullying.” Organized by Chenango Bridge Elementary’s Positivity Project (P2) team, this event not only included an anti-bullying skit acted out by CB staff, but also a new “Stop Out Bullying” rap (created by Mrs. Palmatier) that students enjoyed performing! Students were also given blue thread to wear as a symbol of peace and unity.

After the assembly, classes individually went through anti-bullying role play scenarios and each student was able to decorate a blue ribbon showing ways to be “defenders” that stand up to bullying year-round.
