On January 31, second grade students teamed up with kindergarten students for an exciting "Heat It Up" lab. Each second grader was paired with a kindergarten buddy to explore the effects of heat on different materials. Together, they made predictions about the outcomes and then observed the actual changes that occurred to the items when they were placed on a heat plate.
