Colsten Beers and Makenzi Reinhard Sign National Letters of Intent
Congratulations to Chenango Valley High School Class of 2025 seniors Colsten Beers and Makenzi Reinhard, who signed national letters of intent on November 19 to continue their softball careers. They were joined by family, friends, and school representatives to celebrate this exciting milestone.

Colsten is set to join the St. Bonaventure women’s softball team (Division I) and plans to explore a focus in educational leadership.

Among Colsten’s softball accomplishments:

  • Pulled up in eighth grade

  • Named All-Division outfielder freshman year (2022)

  • Named All-Conference utility sophomore year (2023)

  • Named All-Conference shortstop junior year (2024)

  • Named All-State (fifth team) junior year (2024)

Makenzi will join the Mansfield University women’s softball team (Division II) and intends to study psychology.

Among Makenzi’s softball accomplishments:

  • Pulled up in eighth grade for sectionals

  • State finalist as the starting catcher freshman year (2022)

  • Named Mary Testa Player of the Game for two consecutive years

  • Earned STAC All-Division honors junior year (2024)

  • Posted a .448 batting average junior year, leading the team in hits (2024)

Both Colsten and Makenzi expressed gratitude to the family, friends, and coaches who have supported them throughout their journeys.
