Chenango Valley band and chorus students recently enjoyed the opportunity to participate in Broome County Music Educators Association (BCMEA) All-County Festivals!
After working hard to audition earlier in the school year, students with top marks received the chance to perform in the All-County band or chorus!
Selected All-County students start off their festival with a Friday rehearsal at a local host school and practice for several hours with students all over the county. Then, on Saturday morning, students travel to Binghamton University for more rehearsal time at the Anderson Center, where their concert takes place later that day! Through this opportunity, students work with highly recommended directors ranging from current music teachers, college professors, or retired directors at the public school or collegiate level!
Our students enjoyed a fun time of food, friendship, and music education while representing CV!
