Congratulations to Chenango Valley High School Class of 2022 seniors Isabelle Dithrich, Tara Pitcher, and Saniah Reeves who recently earned the New York State Seal of Biliteracy!

Each will receive this distinction on their diplomas when they graduate in June. According to the New York State Education Department, the New York State Seal of Biliteracy recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English.

As a result of hard work and dedication, all three students received this distinction for French with Madame Henyan as their mentor. Thanks to the leadership of Mr. Italiano, they each gave presentations to earn credit for fluency in the English language earlier in the spring.
