Kindergarten Students Receive Special Surprise in Memory of ‘Super Cooper’
The legacy of “Super Cooper,” a boy known for his compassionate nature, continues to shine. After a courageous battle with leukemia, Cooper Busch died at the age of four in May of 2018. In memory of Cooper, his family has continued to perform acts of kindness to promote one of his favorite things… making others smile.

On May 6, members of Cooper’s family visited local elementary schools, including Port Dickinson Elementary, to share a special surprise with kindergarten students. Mrs. Cook's students greeted the family with signs honoring Cooper and accepted the gift on behalf of the kindergarten class. The gift included "playground bags" filled with items such as hula hoops, jump ropes, and bubble wands. The rest of the gifts were later distributed to the other kindergarten classes. In addition, remote kindergarten students will receive coupons for a free small cone at Suzy Q's.

Thank you to the Busch family for this kind and thoughtful gift!
