Update from Mr. Wilson: Exciting news from the Scholastic Art Awards ceremony! Savannah Greenmun's painting "Red-Tailed Pit Viper" was moved up to Gold Key status and won the American Visions Award. It will now travel to nationals for judging! 

In addition, Savannah's piece "Harmony" was chosen as the cover of the program for the show. Pictured below are Savannah and Kaylee at the show! Amazing job to these talented students and the CV Art Department!

The artwork of two Chenango Valley High School artists will be recognized in the 2023 Scholastic Art Awards exhibition in February. Congratulations to these talented student artists on this wonderful accomplishment!

A ceremony to celebrate award recipients around the region will be held on Sunday, February 5. The American Visions Best-In Show honors, as well as the Elmira Regional Art Society Award, will be announced during the event. After the awards ceremony, the exhibit’s opening reception will be held. 

The exhibit will be available for the public to view in the museum’s East Gallery from Tuesday, January 24, through Friday, March 10. The Arnot Art Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Tuesday through Friday, and 12:00 (noon) to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
