Chenango Valley is excited to introduce its newest educators for the 2024-2025 school year. Some are new to our school community, while others are familiar faces stepping into new roles. On August 12, CV's new hire orientation began with a bus tour, offering educators a chance to get to know the school community.
Using the adaptive schools model, they reflected on their 'why' (the motivations behind becoming teachers), learned about the culture and opportunities at CV, and reviewed the district’s mission, vision, and core beliefs. They also explored the concept of professional learning communities (PLCs).
On August 15, they engaged in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training, developing essential skills to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
We are very excited to have these friendly faces joining our district and invite you to say hello if you see them around!
We look forward to a great year ahead with these educators!
