Mrs. Schoonmaker's enriched 10 students visited Chenango Bridge Elementary School on May 24. The tenth-grade students read allegory stories they created in front of fifth-grade students. The purpose of this event was to encourage a love for literacy, inspire creativity, and create connections and mentorship between the older and younger students.

The tenth-grade students wrote and illustrated their stories, which displayed their imaginative storytelling abilities and included meaningful life lessons. They also discussed their writing process and answered questions about middle school to prepare the fifth-grade students for next year.
