We welcome Jennifer Ostrander as our new high school principal. Mrs. Ostrander, who most recently served as assistant principal at Maine-Endwell High School, will share her expertise in working with secondary students. Mr. Tomm will continue to be our athletic director, but concentrate more of his time as director of pupil services, focusing on opportunities and outcomes for students. Mr. Heller will use his administrative expertise as a CVCSD athletic coordinator, overseeing day-to-day operations of athletics, as well as supporting both the middle school and high school as an assistant principal.
We’re excited for them as they take on their new roles, and have confidence that they will work hard to help CV continue to shine!

Breakfast fuels the brain and body to learn! In partnership with the federally-funded “Breakfast in the Classroom” program, the Chenango Valley CSD is proud to offer elementary and secondary students free breakfast daily.

Beginning in the 2018-19 school year, this program will provide breakfast free of charge to each elementary student. Participation is voluntary. As students eat breakfast at their desk, the teacher will take attendance, read announcements or go over the daily agenda. An entree, fruit, juice and milk will be available daily.

Breakfast will also be available free of charge for our middle school/high school students through the cafeteria line or a breakfast vending machine at the start of each school day.
*Additional information will be provided this summer.

It’s important to note that the district is discussing a plan to accommodate the total renovation of both Port Dickinson Elementary and Chenango Bridge Elementary during the 2019-2020 school year.
