Hello to all of our awesome PD Families!
It is hard to believe that we had snow this past week and today, the weather is sunny and warm. I hope that everyone has their power back on and have navigated through a challenging few days.
We are finishing up the month of April this week and will be heading into the final two months (May and June) of school. There will be a lot going on in our classrooms, our school, and our community.
Please know that the CV website is a terrific place to check updates, as well as read any flyers or messages that come through Seesaw from your child's teacher.
Here are a few important items to share with all of you:
*Report cards for Quarter #3 will be coming home with your child/children on Monday, April 25, 2022. We extended the date to send them home, due to the winter weather/power outages from last week.
* The Chenango Valley Central School District invites you to attend an informative presentation “Using Strategies of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to Support My Child” on Tuesday, April 26, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Tanya Pellettiere will give an overview of what cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is and how to use this research-proven treatment method in your parenting approaches to support your kids at home. CBT helps children manage tough feelings that can lead to challenging behaviors that get in the way of success. Learn strategies that can be put into practice the next day! Families may attend in person or via ZOOM.
The presentation will be open to parents/guardians, educators, and community members. If you wish to attend in person, please come to the Warrior Rooms B/C (next to the Chenango Valley Middle School/High School library). If you would prefer to participate remotely, please join via a webinar link:
