Hello to everyone.....
I hope that you have enjoyed your weekend and spent some time doing some fun fall activities.
At Port Dickinson, inside our school, we are working hard on our reading, writing, math, phonics, science, and social studies. Please note the following important items:
*Our Food Drive is in full swing and we are collecting food by grade levels. For more information: Click Here
*Our Senior Class at CV (Class of 2022) is sponsoring a "Trunk or Treat" event on Wednesday, October 27, from 5:00-6:30 PM in the CV Middle School/High School student parking lot area.
*Our Food Service Department has asked me to share with everyone about how snacks work at Port Dickinson in the cafeteria. If you wish for your child to be able to buy a snack at lunch time, we need a note from you. Please state in your note that you are giving permission for your child to purchase a snack. Please send your note to school with your child and indicate their teacher/grade level.
*Information was sent home on Friday, October 22, regarding our Halloween festivities at Port Dickinson Elementary on Friday, October 29. If the weather is cooperative, there will be a parade outside at 2:00 p.m. If the weather is not cooperative, there will not be a parade outside. Something that we are doing that is exciting no matter the weather, we are going to be streaming the parade, so you are able to see it from home or work... whatever works best for you. MORE INFORMATION will be coming to you regarding how to access this.
*On the flyer that was sent home, please make sure to send back the second page filled out by Tuesday, October 26. Thank you!
*Our parade times are as follows:
- AM Pre-Kindergarten students will have a parade at 11:00 a.m.
- PM Pre-Kindergarten, FULL DAY Pre-K students, Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade students will have a parade at 2:00 p.m.
As always, we are a team at Port Dickinson and we always need your support!
Please feel that you can reach out any time to our main office: 607-762-6970
Have a wonderful week ahead!
Stay Warrior Strong!
Thank you very much!
