Message from Principal Curry (11-5-2021)

Hello Chenango Bridge Families and Students!

I hope that you have all had a fantastic week!

Our building has been busy with...
- Grade level student meetings on the importance of "Respect"
- Student development of their reading and math skills.
- Teacher development of skills and practices in writing, reading, and math.
- Art projects.
- Music lessons.
- CB Clubs
- And our continued Swim/STEAM program!

Chenango Bridge staff, families, and students are working hard to establish skills in math, reading, writing, science, social studies, art, music, physical education, library, and social-emotional learning. It is critical that we work together to promote the highest level of success. Here are some strategies that we can all use to advance our students beyond expectations...
- Reading books every day that are at our reader's level and 'stretch' their skills to enhance growth.
- Regular mathematical conversations with students (how did you get the answer?) in both real life and school work.
- Practice positive responses to difficult situations- disagreement, frustration, anger, etc.
- Sing, dance, play a sport, practice an instrument, investigate a mystery, and research an author.
