Message from Principal Curry (10-22-2021)

Hello Chenango Bridge Families and Students!

We are headed into our eighth week of school! This week has been full of visits from our Chenango Bridge Fire Company, picture day (make-ups on November 22), continued visits to our pool and Outdoor Learning Center, and Chenango Bridge clubs are in full swing. Our teachers are supporting our students' growth in math stations, guided reading groups, art projects, band rehearsals, swimming lessons, scientific discussions, and so much more. This building is rocking and rolling!

Some important areas to note:

PTA Scholastic Book Fair
Thanks to our PTA, Chenango Bridge will be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair Next week (October 25-29). Families are welcome to join us at the Chenango Bridge Library on October 25 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Please wear a proper face covering and keep physically distant. For more details: Click Here

Halloween at Chenango Bridge
We will be celebrating Halloween at CB on Friday, October 29. Teachers will be in touch about classroom festivities. Please note that proper face coverings still must be worn in school. Costumes should be school appropriate, comfortable enough to wear throughout the day, no head-pieces, no inflatables, no weapons, or heavy face painting/make up. Please reach out to your student's classroom teacher with any specific questions or concerns you might have. So excited for Halloween at CB!

Swim/STEAM
We have gone through Session 1 and are in Session 2 of Swim/STEAM up at the MSHS Pool and Outdoor Learning Center. Session 3 will be from October 27-November 5.

Food Drive
Our Chenango Bridge Food Drive has begun and will run through November 8. Please see the flier that went home for details.

Senior Class Trunk or Treat

The Senior Class is hosting a 'Trunk or Treat' in the Student Parking Lot at the MSHS on October 27 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Please see the flier that went home for details.

Thank you all for your continued teamwork in supporting all Chenango Bridge Students!

Have a great weekend!
