Dear Chenango Valley Families,

Governor Cuomo announced yesterday that, beginning on May 19, New York State will adopt the CDC’s new guidance on mask use and social distancing for those who are fully vaccinated. It is important to note that as part of this announcement, Governor Cuomo shared that pre-K to grade 12 schools will be among public spaces that will need to “continue to follow the State's existing COVID-19 health guidelines until more New Yorkers are fully vaccinated.” This means, at this time, masks are still required to be worn, and the existing health and safety protocols must continue to be followed, in our schools.
