Dear Chenango Valley Families,
The Chenango Valley Central School District invites you to attend an informative presentation titled “Social Media and Your Family” on Tuesday, December 21, beginning at 6:00 p.m. This will be part of a series of monthly presentations/events to provide various support and resources to our Warrior community.
Presentation overview:
Sarah Latimer, CV Director of Technology, and Deputy Robert Stapleton, a CV School Resource Officer (SRO) from the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, will present on the topic of social media awareness and safety. The presentation will include tips for talking about the repercussions of inappropriate social media usage as well as ways to protect your children online.
How to Attend (In Person or via Zoom):
The presentation will be open to parents/guardians, educators, and community members. Those who wish are able to attend in person at Warrior Rooms B/C (next to the Chenango Valley Middle School/High School library). In-person attendees must wear a face mask and follow COVID-19 safety protocols. If you would prefer to participate remotely, please see the Zoom information below.
