Third grade students from Chenango Bridge Elementary saw their monster drawing creations "come to life" -- thanks to the help of some high school art students!
Earlier in the year, all third grade students in Mrs. Sabol’s art class drew pictures of monsters. Mr. Fitzsimmons’ Fast Forward high school art students then worked hard to turn these drawings into 3D sculptures!
The younger students were under the impression that just a few of the drawings were chosen to be made into sculptures. They were quite surprised by the "Monster Mash Reveal" to discover that each of their pictures had 3D counterparts!
The high school students used clay as their primary material and painted them to look as similar to the drawing as possible.
