As a gesture to thank all who have served our country, a special Veterans Day assembly took place at Chenango Bridge Elementary on November 9.
During the assembly, students spoke on the history and meaning of Veterans Day. As students spoke, a slideshow with submitted photos of students’ and staff’s family members who have served or are currently serving played in the background.
After the assembly, members of the Chenango Bridge Student Council continued an annual tradition of placing small American flags across the school’s front lawn to display appreciation for our nation’s veterans.
