On November 29, some of Chenango Valley Central School District's administrators and Board of Education members helped the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to pack bags of donated food items for its 'Backpack Program' to assist local children in need.
The program provides children around the region, who may not have access to proper nourishment when school is not in session, with food-filled backpacks for over the weekend/holidays.
