Chenango Valley Central School District teachers/teaching assistants took part in a "Warrior Learners" workshop focused on maximizing effectiveness in the classroom on December 19.
The three characteristics of effective teaching covered in this workshop were classroom management, attitude, and lesson planning.
Topics of conversation included the important role that organization and structure can play in a classroom, ways to create a positive and welcoming environment for students, and a look into procedures versus routines.
