CVHS Team Participates in Canstruction 2018
Chenango Valley students are helping to make a "giraffic" difference! On April 8, a group of Chenango Valley High School STEAM students and Chenango Valley teacher Mrs. Wheeler used canned food and other non-perishable food items to build a baby and mother giraffe for the 2018 Canstruction event at the Oakdale Mall.

Canstruction is an international hunger-relief competition. The Canstruction of the Southern Tier event helps to raise awareness and benefit the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and CHOW. After the cans of food are disassembled, they will be used to aid hunger-relief efforts throughout Broome County.

An awards ceremony was held on April 11. For a third year, CV won "People’s Choice" for small structures, and this year's group also won best T-shirt design! Thank you for your support!
