Teachers/TAs Take Part in "Warrior Learners" Workshops
Secondary and elementary teachers/teaching assistants took part in "Warrior Learners" workshops taught by CV Assistant Superintendent Michelle Feyerabend on October 25.
These newly implemented workshops are intended to help provide various support and mentorship resources for CV teachers -- especially those who are newer to the district.
The topic on October 25 was "Communicating Effectively with Families." Staff went through positive communication strategies and also role played how they could put these helpful strategies into productive use.
These educational workshops will be held monthly to help encourage professional development. The next session in November will focus on the power of one's mindset.
