Interact Club Students Assist 'The BackPack Program'
Members of Chenango Valley High School's Interact Club worked with members of the Hillcrest Rotary and other community members to help the Food Bank of the Southern Tier in its 'BackPack Program' to assist area children in need. On September 13, at Binghamton's East Middle School, they helped to pack bags with donated food items to be distributed to local children.

'The BackPack Program' works to help children who receive free or reduced lunches during the school week by giving them food-filled backpacks for over the weekend/holidays. These students may not otherwise have access to this nourishment when school is not in session.  Click here to learn more about 'The BackPack Program.'

CV’s Interact Club is a student volunteer group that works in collaboration with the Hillcrest Rotary.  Those who helped out at this event included Interact Club President Peter Jensen, Vice President Grace McManus and Secretary Mia Hause.
