‘CV Elementary Summer STEAM’ Explores Nature
The 2018 “CV Elementary Summer STEAM” program kicked off on July 9. This year, students in the program are learning about the outdoor environment with a theme of “nature.”

Throughout the program, students entering grades 1-6 will explore topics in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics as they take part in a variety of interactive activities. On July 9, activities included students researching information on animals, giving presentations on weather, and testing the symmetry of different items found in nature.

There will be two separate sessions held for "CV Elementary STEAM"; one session of students will attend from July 9 through July 19, and the other will learn about the same topics and information from July 23 through August 2. Each session is broken into groups according to grade levels. More than 125 students will take part in total this summer!
