David Gill joined the Chenango Valley School District in 1986. Before coming to CV, Mr. Gill taught Math for the Binghamton City School District. His career in the Chenango Valley District began as a Mathematics Teacher, and then as the Math Department Chairperson. In 2005 he was offered the position of Middle School Principal, which he served for 5 years. When the Assistant Superintendent position was vacated with a retirement he was then appointed into this position effective September 1st, 2010. Mr. Gill graduated from Binghamton North High and holds a Bachelor's degree in education from the University of Scranton, a Master's degree in math education from SUNY Binghamton and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Administration from SUNY Cortland. ![]() | Mary Beth Hammond joined the Chenango Valley Central School District in September 1995. Prior to working at CV, Mary Beth worked for Broome-Tioga BOCES, beginning in September 1990. Mrs. Hammond has worked as a Speech/Language Therapist, a Reading Teacher, and Administrator during her 21 years in the field of education. Mrs. Hammond has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Speech Pathology/Audiology from SUNY Geneseo, a Master of Science (MS) degree in Reading/Literacy from SUNY Cortland, and a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) in Building/District Level Administration from SUNY Cortland. Mrs. Hammond has lived in the Chenango Valley school district for 18 years, residing in Chenango Bridge with her husband, Kirk, and their three children, Eric (Class of 2013), Emily (Class of 2015), and Kevin (Class of 2017). ![]() | Elizabeth Donahue joined the Chenango Valley Central School District in November 2008 as a Shared Business Executive. Mrs. Donahue divided her time with the Broome-Tioga BOCES Central Business Office until July 2010 when she joined Chenango Valley’s administrative team on a full-time basis as School Business Executive. Prior to her position at Chenango Valley, Elizabeth worked for 25 years in the banking industry, most of which was spent as a Branch Manager for BSB Bank & Trust. Mrs. Donahue has also held licenses to sell financial investments and insurances, and is an experienced Compliance Officer, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures while instructing others in the creation and administration of annual budgets. Elizabeth graduated from Thousand Islands High School and State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematical Economics. |

![]() Tara Whittaker joined the Chenango Valley School District in September of 2012 as the Interim Director of Early Childhood and Literacy. Mrs. Whittaker has been in the field of education for the past 14 years. She has worked as a Special Education Teacher, a Student Support Specialist and Transitions Coordinator as well as a Director of Special Education serving Oxford Central Schools, Broome-Tioga BOCES, Sherburne-Earlville Central Schools and Delaware-Chenango- Madison-Otsego BOCES. Mrs. Whittaker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Oneonta, a Master’s degree in Special Education from Binghamton University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Administration from SUNY Cortland. Mrs. Whittaker is married and has two sons that attend the Greene Central School District. Mrs. Whittaker is excited and honored to be a part of the Chenango Valley Central School District and looks forward to a year of hard work and continued student success. |
