Important Notice: Media Correction  
An article appearing in the Saturday, May 18 issue of the Binghamton Press & Sun-Bulletin erroneously stated that Chenango Valley Interim Superintendent David Gill's salary is expected to increase by 13.5% for the 2013-2014 school year. This is not accurate. 

In January 2012, Mr. Gill was named Interim Superintendent and began receiving a stipend in adddition to his assistant superintendent salary. His compensation for 2012-2013 includes one-half of the total stipend, because he began his new position mid-way through the school year.  In reporting his anticipated compensation for 2013-2014, a full year's stipend was included. In comparing the compensation for both years, the reporter did not take this into account, thereby erroneously reporting a significant increase.  Mr. Gill's actual salary and stipend was increased by 2% upon his contract extension in January 2013.
