Mr. Terrence Heller

Terry Heller, Senior High Principal Grades 9 – 12, comes to Chenango Valley after serving as Greene Central Schools High School Principal and Athletic Director for the past four years. Prior to Greene, Mr. Heller was a Social Studies teacher, Coach, and Athletic Director at Harpursville for twenty years.

Mr. Heller has a BA in History Education from LeMoyne College and a Masters degree in Education from SUNY Cortland. Mr. Heller earned his administrative certifications from New York State in 2006.

Mr. Heller and his wife Mary have lived in the District for 25 years and have three children.

Mr. Eric Attleson
Middle School Principal 7-8

Eric Attleson joined the Chenango Valley staff as the new assistant principal of the High School in 2002. He comes to us from the Binghamton School District, where he was a Technology Education teacher for eleven years. He received his Bachelor of Science from SUNY Oswego in 1991, his Master of Science in Reading Education from SUNY Cortland in 1995, and his Administrative Degree in May of 2001. He's currently working on his second Masters Degree, this time in Engineering Technology from R.I.T.

During his time at Binghamton, Mr. Attleson was heavily involved with the New York State Southern Tier Technology Association, the Broome County Tech Prep Program, the District Computer Technology committee, and various academic and curriculum writing committees. Currently, he is involved in the creation of the BHS Pre-Engineering Academy, as well as a Satellite School at the Broome County Urban League Technology Center.

Mr. Attleson is a master trainer for Project Lead the Way and was named Teacher of the Year by the Southern Tier Technology Education Association in 2002.
