As a Common Core Institute (CCI) Grant Awardee, our district has been recognized by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a Common Core Institute. From January through June 2015, our district partnered with NYSED to help enrich Common Core instructional materials and ensure high quality professional development for our teachers and community. 

CCI Fellow and 8th grade English Language Arts teacher, Tina Conklin, has developed resources for educators, students, and parents, which include enhancements to the optional NYS curriculum modules, as well as professional development materials.
